Writing a book is the achievement of a lifetime. Once your first draft is complete, you have important decisions to make regarding editing, proofreading, formatting, cover design, and marketing. Our Author Services team specializes in turning manuscripts into beautiful and compelling books.
Editing
Editors are the essential element in transforming good writing into a great story with compelling characters. An editor will be assigned to work with you to craft all elements of your book. It is a collaborative process and one that with your attentiveness can be completed in about sixty days.
Proofreading
When editing is complete, a proofreader will be assigned to ensure your work meets the professional standards expected in the publishing industry.
Cover Design
Early in the process, a cover designer will be assigned and guided by you and an Author Outreach Coordinator to bring alive a cover that best exemplifies your book.
Formatting
When editing and proofreading are completed, a designer will begin formatting the interior of your book. This is also a critical element to give your work the professional polish that makes it both appealing and pleasing to read.
Uploading
The final step is to upload your finished product to Amazon as well as Ingram Spark. Doing so makes your book available for sale to over 40,000 retailers, institutions, and libraries. We can do this for you as well. We can work with Ingram Content Services and Amazon to relieve you of the challenging technical requirements of this final step.
Marketing
